Evgeny Artyukhin, 196 cm - 114 kg, is not known as a goal scorer but when SKA's stars Maxim Afinogenov, Patrick Thoresen and Mattias Weinhandl were missing due to injury the 28 years old forward stepped up and scored a hattrick in today's 4-1 win over Atlant.

Artyukhin who scored only 4 goals last season had scored 8 this season before this game.

He opened the scoring at 3:24 and scored a shorthanded goal for 2-0 two minutes later. At 37:23 he closed the scoring with his 4-1 goal; assisted by Ivan Nepryaev for the second time in the game.

Andrei Zubarev scored Atlant's only goal for 2-1 at 22:36 but seven minutes later Igor Makarov scored 3-1.
