Most of the European top leagues take a break for national team games.

Euro Hockey Tour continues with Channel One Cup in Moscow December 15-18.

Austria hosts Österreich Cup in Klagenfurt. Competing teams besides Austria are Switzerland, Slovakia and Belarus.

Germany plays Russia B on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Two EIHC (Euro Hockey Challenge) tournaments will also be played this weekend. In Ljubljana Slovenia host a tournament with Norway, France and Russia B.

In Csikszereda Hungary, Poland and Ukraine will visit Romania.
