12,000 season tickets sold one month before the league starts

11 Aug 2011 | Henrik Lundqvist

SC Bern has sold 12,000 season tickets four weeks before the start of the Swiss NLA. Numbers that other European top clubs only can dream of.

There will be another 1,000 season tickets sold according to a waiting list for Bern’s home games in PostFinance-Arena.

Like last year, the sale of season tickets will stop at 13,000. Bern is by far the European club with the highest average attendance. For the last few seasons the average has been around 16,000 every time.

PostFinance-Arena has a capacity of 17,000 spectators (7,000 seats).

SC Bern will play its first home game of the season September 10 against EHC Biel.
