Asia League 2011-2012

The 2011 finals of the Asia league were canceled due to the big earthquake in Japan. Now the seven teams from Japan, South Korea and China look forward to a new season that begins September 17th.
The format of the regular season is the same as last season. From September 17th until February 26th the teams will play 36 games each. A home and away system where the seven teams play each other six times.
The four best teams qualify for the semi finals where the league winner plays the 4th team.
The regular season is played from September 17 till February 26 whlie the playoffs start March 3 and ends March 25.
There will be "IIHF breaks" November 7-13 and February 6-12.
