Jukka Jalonen has been appointed as the new head coach of the Italian national ice hockey team.

 
 
 
 

Jalonen, a 61-year-old Finnish coach, boasts an impressive career with Olympic and World Championship medals. He previously led the Finnish national team, securing numerous titles including Finland's first Olympic gold in 2022. Jalonen's extensive experience includes coaching in Finland’s Liiga, England, Italy, and the KHL. The Italian team aims to prepare for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympics with his guidance.
