Hungarian team closes the tournament with a perfect record, flying to the semifinal in Cortina, Italy
What at the beginning of the tournament seemed to be the decisive match, turned into a parade of honor for Ferencvaros, who left no chance for Sokil Kyiv, whose tournament had practically stopped with the unexpected defeat against Kaunas . In the match which formalized the qualification for the semi-finals for the Hungarians, the Ukrainian team was little more than a sparring partner, already knocked out in the first period, leading 5-1, after an ephemeral draw by Sokil, useful only to the statistics: it was in fact the first goal conceded by Ferencvaros in the entire tournament.

In the two final periods the Hungarians managed the game, without ever running into danger and deservedly earning a ticket to the semi-finals in November in Cortina,ITA against the home team, GKS Katowice and Herning Blue Fox
Sokil is certainly the disappointment of the tournament, ending with just one victory against Crvena Zvezda
