24 hours after the good victory against China, Netherlands receives a hard lesson from the strong Ukraine, which leaves no room for the Dutch to try to surprise as they did the day before, burying them under the weight of 14 goals.
Technically and athletically superior, the Ukrainians, always driven by a good number of fans, immediately raised their voices, conceding just 8 shots on goal in the first two periods, instead targeting the Dutch goal with 45 shots, which yielded 10 goals in the first two periods, despite several good saves by goalkeeper Martijn Oosterwijk.
