HV 71 - Linköping HC 2 - 4 (1-1, 1-0, 0-3) Series 2-4
Nichlas Hardt was the man to watch this night. He tied the game 1-1, he got a cross-check to the face by Jere Karalahti that the referees didn't see, he assisted to Daniel Rahimi's 2-2 goal and he scored the game-winning 3-2 goal at 56:17. Brock Little was also hot for the guests with the empty net goal for 4-2 and  assists to the first three Linköping goals. Linköping now won the series 4-2 and moves on to the semi finals.

Örebro HK - Växjö Lakers HC 4 - 5 (1-1, 1-1, 2-2, 0-1) Series 2-4
Henrik Löwdahl scored 4-3 for Örebro at 58:09 and it looked like there would be a seventh game in Växjö on Wednesday. But only 14 seconds before the end of the third period Jani Lajunen tied it with his third goal of the playoffs. Another Finnish player, the veteran Tomi Kallio, then got the series-winning goal for Växjö at 2:06 of the overtime.

VIK Västerås HK - Rögle BK 3 - 0 (1-0, 2-0, 0-0) Series 1-2
In the qualification to SHL Västerås got the first victory in the series against Rögle. Former Rögle goalie Jonas Fransson made 38 saves for Västerås to earn the shutout. Fredrik Johansson, Mikael Frycklund and Stefan Gråhns got the goals.
