Davos get three points at Biel

Davos goes to November pause in first place; Seven in the row for Bern; Zürich keep the pace;

Biel 2-4 Davos

Started better the home team with great opportunities by Herburger and Ulmer. We hadn't even play two minutes in the game and Biel showed already how it's gonna be the game. Like always between two tight teams the home team starts better unless the visiting team scores, then the pace of the game can change. In the first period the line that carry Biel and the game, wasn't has expected composed by Swedish players. Was actually composed by Austrian players. Herburger and Ulmer did a great period with eight shots between the two. And the goal from home team came naturally by Ulmer, assisted by Kamber. The response for the visiting team came six seconds before the end of the first period by ex Biel player Marc Wieser. In shots on goal Biel-Davos 13:9.

If the visiting team preferred to expect Biel in neutral zone for the first 20 minutes the second period was slightly different, Davos came out with intentions to play in a higher pace. Almost naturally Davos scored the second goal in the game after a great tic-tac-toe between Corvi and Ambühl and first player ended up to score a great goal on Biel's goalie Simon Rytz. The third goal for the visiting team was scored by Koistinen. At this time Davos was already in pace to take the three points in dispute. Shots on goal Biel 9:11 Davos.

In the third period Biel felted the urgency to score in the game and that seemed to work, Kamber assisted by Kevin Fey give some hope to home team. Once more we felt the line Herburger-Kamber-Ulmer better than the others in the game. Until the end Biel forced to tie the game but Davos managed to keep the three points with one more goal in a penalty scored by Dick Axelsson. Davos goes to November pause in the first place.

Geneva 3-5 Bern

Very good first period with two goals for each team. Rubin, D'agostini for Geneva. Ritchie and Bertschy for Bern. In the second period Geneve score the third by Tom Pyatt and Bern responded for the third time by Ryan Gardner. Martin Plüss scored another two goals for Bern in the third period for the seventh victory in a row.

Lausanne 1-2 ZSC Lions (OT)

We expected a very good game between the home team with 8 victories in games and the defending champions the ZSC Lions. In a very tight game Zürich scored first by Derek Smith and Lausanne responded right after by Phillip Rytz. Finally Zürich win the game but only in overtime with a goal by Bergeron.
