44 teams in 11 groups. Now it's official. The Champions Hockey League draw was held today in Minsk.
The officials that performed today's draw faced some problems with the "national conflict" (meaning that two teams from the same country can't be in the same group), but eventually the draw came to an end and we now know the eleven groups.
The eleven group winners and the five best second placed teams will advance to the playoffs. The schedule for the group stage will be released during next week.
