Örebro's head coach Patrik Ross decided to leave Örebro after losing 12 consecutive games. The second worst number of consecutive losses since Väsby lost 14 games in a row in 1987/1988. Håkan Åhlund and Roland Sätterman took over the team and travelled to Örnsköldsvik and there Örebro finally won again after turning around 0-1 to 2-1 away to MODO. Tim Sandberg played very well in goal and another Tim, Tim Wallace scored the game winner early in the third period. Very welcome three points for Örebro who are still last but only a few points after the other teams. Now rumours say that Kent Johansson will take over as head coach in Örebro.

Other notable results is that Brynäs (1-5 away to Luleå) and Linköping (2-4 at home to Färjestad) continues their bad form and Brynäs is now down in seventh and Linköping in ninth place. For Färjestad the win took them to eighth place.

But the perhaps most notable result was Leksand's 2-1 win away to league leaders Skellefteå. Patrik Hersley scored again and has now scored a fantastic 14 goals from his position as defender.
