Lokomotiv too strong for Atlant

One game has only been played today in the best European hockey league, the KHL, and Lokomotiv snapped a 2:0 home win.

Lokomotiv Yaroslav go 4 out of 4 wins after the international break with today's 2:0 win over Atlant in Yaroslavl. After a scoreless first period, Yury Petrov opens the scoring in the 23rd minute of the game after Mikhail Pashnin well used Mikhail Glukhov's defensive mistake.

Igor Musatov doubles the lead for the home side at the beginning of the third period after receiving a good feed from Ilya Gorokhov. Curtis Sanford stopped all 36 shots to record his fifth shutout of the season. Alexei Petrov tried to beat him 7 times, but with no success.
