The International tournament for clubs played in Omsk Russia has reached the second round. Dubuque, Omsk, Dinamo Shinnik and HPK still in the race.
The high class junior tournament with some of the best junior teams from around world is currently being played in Omsk, Russia.
The first round has finished and saw Dubuque Fighting Saints winning group A just ahead of host Omsk in a close group. Both teams finished on six points but Dubuque defeated Omsk in the game between them and thus won the group. Riga was third one point ahead after dropping a point against Czech side Vitkovice who only took that point.
In the other group Belarus side Dinamo Shinnik won the group ahead Finnish HPK who both had two wins each. Sweden's Frölunda and Sudbury Wolves only hade one win each with Sudbury destroying Frölunda's chances with wininng 4-1 on the last day.
Two Riga players Rustams Begovs and Nikolajs Jesilejevs is top scorers with six and five points so far. All the stats are available at our tournament page.
Semi finals are played today between Dubuque and HPK and Shinnik and Omsk.
