Preliminary Russian Olympic roster announced
Russia has announced the 35 players that will go to a pre-Olympic meeting on August 23-24.
The roster is very preliminary and may have no significance at all but players not on it may have a long way to reach the Olympic roster. The roster will meet in the end of August and will for example try out the Olympic clothes. Among the players that are not on the roster you can note goalkeeper Ilya Bryzgalov and forward Sergei Mozyakin.
