The Russian followed up Thursday's 5-1 win over Sweden with an amazing 6-0 win over the Czechs. Player of the game was definitely Pavel Datsyuk who scored three goals.

Russia had a 2-0 lead after the first period. Alexander Radulov deflected a shot by Alexei Yemelin for 1-0. Pavel Datsyuk scored 2-0 with a nice move. The Czechs also had chanses to score. Especially Ales Hemsky who had two great attempts.

The first half of the second period was a great show by the Russian team. Sergei Mozyakin scored 3-0 on the power play with his third goal of the tournament. Datsyuk made it 4-0 after a beautiful combination with his linemates. After the fourth goal the Czechs switched goalies. Alexander Salak entered the ice instead of Ondrej Pavelec..

In the third period the game dropped in pace. The Russians scored 5-0 by Yevgeny Malkin and 6-0 by Datsyuk and then they wanted to help their goalie Vasily Koshechkin to earn the shutout. And he did, even if the Czechs got a power play opportunity at the end of the game.

Tomorrow Finland will get a shot at this strong Russian team.
