Outsider Avtomobilist beat the leader of the East

The fourth game of the season between Traktor and Avtomobilist ended with the score 2-1 but now for the first time Avtomobilist beat their opponents. Nikolai Bushuyev who according  to rumors will transfer to Traktor in the next few days opened the scoring with a one-timer at 25:57. Three minutes later Yevgeny Kuznetsov used a power-play chance to tie the game he came behind the net and got the puck in the net. In the third Avtomobilist had a couple penalty chances to turn the game into their account but the game was decided only in shootout series where Nikolay Bushuyev with the second goal led his team to a victory.

CSKA 2-1 Dinamo Riga
CSKA strengthened its positions in the West beating Dinamo Riga 2-1. The Latvian team grabbed the lead in the middle of the game when Marcel Hossa with a wrist shot scored. It was a first goal for Hossa after returning to Riga where he played two seasons ago. Two penalties in a 15-second span helped CSKA to tie the game. Martins Karsums and Guntis Galvinsh earned it for holding and Alexander Guskov with a stun shot tied the game. In the last game Nikita Filatov made an assist, tonight he scored. 44 seconds after Guskov’s goal Filatov was first on a rebound to lead his team to an important victory.
