Austria got their third win in a row when they defeated Hungary 3-1 in the Hungarian EIHC tournament Hoki Kupa. Martin Oraze scored two goals and Rafael Rotter one. France beat Japan 4-2.

On the second day of Deutschland Cup Slovakia beat Germany 3-2 and Switzerland got away with 2-1 against Canada. Both games were decided in overtime. Tomorrow it will be decided if Germany or Switzerland wins the tournament.

Real Torino (Italy Serie A2) Slovak defender Lubos Sekula will be back on ice in 2011. Sekula suffered a shoulder tendon lesion after a charge during the game versus Egna on October 5. He should be back for the league playoffs in March.

Narva PSK has withdrawn from the league due to financial difficulties and lack of players. Narva will play this year in an amateur league. Estonian League will now be played with just 3 teams: Viru Sputnik Kohtla-Järve, Kalev-Välk Tartu and debutant Tallinna TKK.

Romania won all three games of the ECC Tournament (EIHC) at home in Brasov. Today Spain was was defeated 4-0. Croatia beat Serbia 7-0 to finish second. Player of the day: Croatian goalie Matija Tackovic who made 38 saves.

Austria is the only team with a perfect record after two rounds of Hoki Kupa (EIHC) in Hungary. Today's results: Austria-Japan 4-0 and Hungary-France 5-2.

Russia's B team had no problem to win the EIHC tournament in Poland. After big wins agaisnt Ukraine and Netherlands, Poland was beaten today 6-2. Ukraine beat Netherlands 3-0

Denmark beat Slovenia 3-2 after a shoot-out. The win also gave them the tournament vicory. Julian Jakobsen scored twice, including the game winning penalty shot. Belarus beat Norway 5-2 to finish second.

Germany beat Canada 4-3 and Switzerland beat Slovakia 2-0 on the opening day of Deutschland Cup.

Kovyrshin, Efimeno and Pavlovich scored two goals each when Belarus defeated Slovenia 8-2. Poland-Ukraine ended 6-3. Spain beat Serbia 6-4. Ilic scored three goals for the losing team. Hungary lost 4-2 to Japan. The Japanese NHL experienced netminder Fukufuji made 40 saves.

Kloten Flyer's Swedish coach Anders Eldebrink signed a new contract. He will stay at Kloten until 2012.

Denmark beats Norway 3-2 after a shoot-out. Holgaard got the game-winner. Lukas scored twice when Austria defeated France 4-3. Romania beat Croatia 6-1 and Russia B had no problem against The Netherlands. The game ended 9-1.

Sweden have called up Luleå's forward Pär Arlbrandt for the two remaining games of the Karjala Cup. He replaces Dick Axelsson who was injured in the game against the Czech Republic.

From next season all DEL games with just a few exceptions will be played during the weekends. This is because the games played Mondays-Thursdays have 25-30% less spectators.

Russia B defeated Ukraine 7-0 and Poland embarrassed Netherlands 10-1 in the EIHC group in Sanok, Poland. Igor Musatov scored 3 goals. Ivan Kasutin only had to make 7 saves to earn the shut-out. Poland's best scorer was Mikolaj Lopuski (3+1).
