Glasgow Clan earned their second win of the season with a 4-1 home victory over high-flying Coventry Blaze at Braehead Arena.
Steve McParland opened the scoring in the game, tipping a Kevin Massy shot past Paavo Hölsä at 05:27. Kim Tallberg evened things up at 08:11 by squeezing the puck into the net between the post and John Muse's pads.
The fans in the Braehead Arena did not have to wait long for a goal in the third period after a scoreless second period. Gabriel Chabot scored his first goal for the Clan only 34 seconds into the period with a close-range follow-up. Jake Bolton put the Clan further ahead, finding the net with a quick shot from the blue line to also score his first goal in the Clan's colours at 46:45.
A final score of 4-1 was confirmed by Mathieu Roy with an empty netter 11 seconds before the buzzer. Coventry continue their Scottish road trip in Fife on Sunday, while Clan will head to the side just about them in the table, Manchester.
