Goals and assists
Sheffield bounced back from home defeat to Coventry by going north of the border and winning in Fife – leaving the Flyers with no points from this weekend’s games.
Rob Dowd gave Sheffield the early lead, and they held that until 22:46 when Carlo Finucci levelled shorthanded after a bad Steelers’ giveaway in their own zone.
Nikolai Lemtyugov’s solo effort put Sheffield back ahead 1:31 into the final period, with Dowd giving his side a two-goal cushion a little under five minutes later. Lemtyugov found the empty net with 52 seconds remaining to make the points safe.
