Glasgow Clan leave a weekend in Nottingham with four points n the bag after a shootout win over the Panthers on Sunday afternoon.

Sam Herr scored the opening goal of the game after pouncing on a rebound from Jon Rheault’s initial shot. Scott Pitt levelled up for the Clan at 8:58, both goals coming on the powerplay, and the Clan then went on to have a goal washed out for a kicking motion before the period was over.


Robert Lachowicz fired the puck home to put the Panthers back ahead with 25:28, a lead the Panthers held into the break, but Mathieu Roy would tie the game 2:49 into period three.


No more goals saw the game go to overtime, and with the deadlock still not broken it was decided in a shootout. Patrick Killeen stopped all four shots he faced, with two for the Clan sealing the win.
