Game recap

Dundee continued their impress run of form, extending their winning streak to three games by defeating Guildford Flames.

Th Flames, who made the 480-odd mile trip up to Dundee, actually got the first goal of the night - Calle Ackered is deadly on the powerplay, and he fired in a trademark slapshot with 10:55 played. A powerplay goal of their own from Matt Marquardt brought Dundee level at 16:12 as the puck bounced in off Travis Fullerton, and then Kevin Dufour put goth the go-ahead goal with a one-timer off a face-off 19:28.

Shawn Boutin and Marquardt again struck before John Dunbar pulled the score back to 4-2, but Egils Kalns' goal with 31 seconds left in period two effectively won the Stars the game with 20 minutes still to play.

Colton Kroeker neatly re-directed Elgin Pearce's shot for 6-2 at 51:59, which would be the final goal of the game.
