IIHF and national government will help Kirghiz hockey

During IIHF delegate visit, icehockey development was discussed in Parliament
A strategic plan to promote the development of national hockey for the next 5-10 years were discussed in Kirghiz Parliament during the visit of IIHF
Asian Sport Development Manager Harald Springfeld. with the purpose of helping short, medium and long-term development programs of hockey in Kyrgyzstan.
"IIHF, in order to improve the professionalism of coaches and referees in Kyrgyzstan, is ready to finance their further education and training on international standards, as well as assist in the acquisiton of ice hockey equipements for teams in the country" - said Harald Springfeld.
In addition, chairman of the parliamentary majority coalition, "Unity and Development" Kanatbek Isaev noted the need to promote healthy lifestyles through the sport and ensured national government will assure all the support for allowing national team to compete in international championships.
