Fedor Fedorov scored the winner when SKA St. Petersburg beat Dinamo Riga in a shootout game. Spartak won the Moscow derby against Dynamo.

The top against the bottom of the Bobrov Division, but SKA needed a shootout to win. Janis Sprukts scored the guests's goal at 11:05. Igor Makarov tied it for SKA in the second period. Fedor Fedorov beat Chris Holt on the first shot in the shootout. Ilya Ezhov in SKA's net saved all three for the win.
