7,000 spectators at practice

When Modo had its first ice practice of the season yesterday, more than 7,000 fans were there to watch.
In Sweden, the first ice practice of the season is always a big event.

Elitserien had more than 7,000 fans in the seats when they entered the ice for the first time.
Modo has many well-known profiles in their organization. New Head Coach is
Ulf Samuelsson.

"It's amazing that so many people visited
Fjällräven Center during yesterday's ice premiere", says marketing manager Tommy Roos to Modo’s homepage and continues: "We have people who travel from all over the country, we had guests from the Torneedalen, Mälardalen, Småland, Hälsingland to name a few places. When you consider that they travel so far to witness this particular event it feels like the brand MODO Hockey is really, really strong."
The ice premiere 2011 included a presentation of the new roster and a practice game against the Swedish national Bandy team.
