All DEL clubs receive licenses

06 Jul 2011 | Henrik Lundqvist

This is the result of the license review process for the DEL 2011/2012 season, in which the Deutsche Eishockey Liga Betriebsgesellschaft mbH today confirmed the licenses.

All 14 teams teams are clear to participate again in the upcoming season of the highest German league.

On the contrary, the application of Ravensburg Tower Stars was refused. The second division champions could neither fulfill the economic requirements nor the DEL arena guidelines in the license-review process.

The DEL 2011/2012 schedule will be released in the coming week. The first game will be played on the 16th of September 2011.
