Sisak at one step from glory
The second victory against SA Akureyri leads Sisak very close to the qualification
Another brilliant performance by Sisak brings the Croatian team one step away from qualifying for the second round of the Continental Cup.
Against the Skautafelag Akureyri, Sisak had a more aggressive attitude than that of the first game and the results were already seen in the first period, unlocked in an extra attacker situation by Canadian Sean Ramsey, who then doubled before the siren.
In the middle period, unfortunately, the game becomes nervous, with a long suspension before minute 30, after a fight that results to a match penalty for Luka Jarcov and Atli Sveinsson. On the ice comes the goals of Ivan Puzic and Patrik Dobric and the first point for the Icelanders with Andri Mikaelsson
In the last 20 minutes, Sisak manages to controlling the game, scoring two more goals and missing a penalty shot with Ikanovic.
Now Sisak's extraordinary international debut can become a masterpiece with qualification for the second round
