On the third day of the World U20 Championship Division 1A in Denmark Belarus beat Latvia 2-1 and is now the only team with a perfect record.

 
 
 
 

The game between the two undefeated teams Latvia and Belarus was scoreless for a long time before Ilya Spat made it 1-0 for Belarus as 33:33. Alexander Suvorov doubled the lead with 7 minutes remaining of the game . Latvia got a goal at 55:17 on a penalty shot by Raivis Ansons but then there were no more goals at Bitcoin Arena.

Belarus is now the only undefeated team but two difficult games, against Kazakhstan and Norway, remain.

Norway got a comfortable 5-1 win over Hungary after 3 power-play goals. Andreas Dahl scored twice for the Norwegians.

the home team Denmark suffered a third loss after 1-4 against Kazakhstan. Konstantin Morozhnikov got the two first goals of the game and was named Best player.
