Sokil Kyiv finished the Continental Cup campaign with the second victory in the group, regretting the bad performance in the first game, costing the qualification. Valk Tartu once again doesn’t look bad, well fighting on the ice against a stronger opponent. After wasting 4 minutes on superiority, Estonian champion suffered the first goal when playing with a man less: Andri Mikhnov finished with an one-timer a pass from Egor Kuzmenko. Sokil doubles the score with Alexander Pavlemnko at minutes 15, scoring two more before the end of period with Mikhail Simchuk wrapping around the goalie and again Andri Mikhnov. After suffering four goals in 5 minutes, Valk already changes the goalie, as always did in the tournament, with Bahturin replacing Bunin.

The new goalie doesn’t stop the Sokol dominion: after 27 seconds in the second period, Anton Ruban nets the fifth goal. In Valk the duo Kriss Lipsbergs – Ivan Akimov is creating some menace for the Ukranian cage with a couple of shots well controlled by Kubrytsky. Finally the Estonians finds the net at 28:26 with a shot from the blue by Dmitri Shapovalov. On powerplay Sokil show the superiority of its roster: Egor Mazhuga finalizes from long distance a collective move around Bahturin cage. But also with a man less, Ukrainian team demonstrates its strength Mykhailo Simchuk punishes Valk scoring shorthanded with a beautiful shot. Before the second siren also Egor Kuzmenko joins the scoresheet finishing an assist by Mikhnov. Late period consolation for Valk comes at 38:58 when Otar Sakhokia nets the second goal for Estonian team.

Talented Harri Koll leaves his signature on the game by scoring the third goal for Valk at minute 47, before Sokil continues its scoring festival netting goal number nine, again shorthanded, with Alexander Pavlenko. The game finishes with the lfourth goal for Valk, scored by its best player Ivan Akimov
