Ryan Gardner behind Switzerlands 4-1 against Belarus

Ryan Gardner had two goals and an assist when Switzerland beat Belarus to keep the second place behind Canada in Group B.
The Swiss first line lead by Ryan Gardner was the key to tonight's important 4-1 against Belarus.
Ryan Garner scored 1-0 on for Switzerland on the first power-play of the game when he redirected Raphael Diaz's shot.
Dmitri Korobov tied the game for Belarus early in the second period but Switzerland replied with full force. Ten minutes later the score was 4-1.
Goran Bezina scored 2-1, Ryan Gardner 3-1 and Ivo Rüthemann made it 4-1 on a short-handed breakaway.
The third period finished without any further goals and Switzerland won the game 4-1.
Martin Plüss"Today we were skating way better," said Martin Plüss who was the only player on the first line without any points. "We were able to pressure them. It was a whole different team from the first game, and we're really satisfied with the way we played. It was a huge win."
