Four minutes was enough for Switzerland to eliminate Finland in the World Championship quarter final.
Group B winner Finland was huge favourite to win the quarter final against 4th ranked Switzerland from Group A.
It all started according to the Finnish plan when Markus Nutivaara, the highest scoring defenseman of the championship so far, made it 1-0 behind Leonardo Genoni at seven minutes.
What decided the game was 3:55 in the middle of the second period when Switzerland scored three quick goals. Enzo Corvi, Joel Vermin and Gregory Hofmann all beat Harri Säteri in the Finnish net.
Finland scored it's second goal at 48:20 when Mikko Rantanen scored his fifth goal of the tournament. Finland pulled the goalie towards the end but couldn't score on the hard working Swiss team.
Switzerland will play Canada in the semi final on Saturday.
