.Great Britain took Gold and returned to the top flight of hockey for the first time since 1994.
After a hectic final day in the World Championships four teams were still in with a chance of promotion to the top flight of World hockey. Great Britain, Kazakhstan, Slovenia and Hungary were all in with a shot at taking the coveted top two spots in the table.
Earlier in the day Poland had been relegated to Division B as they were beaten in their morning game against Kazakhstan.
But the final game of the competition meant a win for Great Britain after a penalty shootout saw them clinch a gold medal place and be promoted, along with Italy to the top World Championship group.
This was a great achievement for the GB side as they had only just been promoted last year from the 'B' division.
