An impressive win for the Czech home team against Russia while Finland beats Sweden.
The Czech team who has been heavily critized during the season is having a good last tournament at home in Brno. After winning first against Finland and today against Russia 6-3 the Czech team has already won the Czech Hockey Games after two games. Jaromir Jagr had a big deal in the win today assisting on the first three goals and scoring the last 6-3 goal himself.
In the other game of the day Finland beat Sweden 2-0. A big mistake by Viktor Fasth gave Petteri Nokelainen an empty net for 1-0 and a late power play goal by Janne Niskala closed the game. A well deserved victory for Finland against weak Swedish team.
Tomorrow the tournament finish with Czech Republic-Sweden and Russia-Finland.
