Kazakhstan beat Lithuania 7-0 and since Poland lost to Great Britain, Kazakhstan is the only team with 9 points after 3 games but Great Britain, Poland or Ukraine can also still finish on top.

The third day of the World Championship Division IB in Kyiv opened with a comfortable 7-0 win for Kazakhstan against Lithuania.

"It was a pretty easy game for us," said Konstantin Pushkarev to iihf.com. "We scored some quick goals. We were focused on working on all areas of our game, from defence and offence to power plays and penalty kill’s. This game was like a practice for us."
