The Scandinavians are badly defeated by a powerful Czech team
Four in a row. This is, so far, what the Czechs managed to accomplish during this year's Worlds: today's victory against Norway was of course something not so unexpected, but the final score of 7-0 really shows us a team motivated to go very far.

Roman Cervenka (Fribourg), Tomas Zohorna (Amur Khabarovsk) and Robert Kousal (Metallurg Novokuznetsk) scored the first three goals in the first period, everyone of them on equal strength and the last two unassisted. In the second period, things got even worse for the Norwegians, which had to stand four goals in a row: Lukas Kaspar (Slovan Bratislava), Radim Simek (Liberec), Michal Repik (from Liberec, too) and again Kaspar were the stars of this section of the game despite a goalie change decided by Norwegian coach Roy Johansen after the temporary 5-0.
The third period slowed down a little, but the damage had of course already been done: thus, the Czechs earn other three key points, and confirm themselves as the kings of Group A, with Kazakhstan, Denmark and Switzerland as their next opponents.
