Malmö Redhawks have signed Kent McDonell, 36 and the contract is signed to one year. -"Kent is going to contribute with a lot of experience," Patrik Sylvegård, Sporting Director Malmö Redhawks said.
Malmö Redhawks, newcomers in SHL have got themselves a great forward in Kent McDonell. The contract is signed to one year and McDonell is currently coming from Linköping HC where he have spent the last two seasons.
McDonell have a total of seven seasons in SHL and have represented Skellefteå AIK, Färjestad BK, AIK and Linköping HC in a total of 312 games. He has a record of 157 points (79+78) and is certainly going to be a great force for Malmö. About coming to the new club McDonell says to malmoredhawks.com: -"I really wanted to come to Malmö and help the team reach next level."
Sporting Director, Patrik Sylvegård is pleased and thrilled with the signing of the experienced forward: -"Kent is a player who's established himself at this level and at the same time announced early that he wanted to come to our organization. He can be used in all kind of gameplay and is going to contribute with great experience."
