Six teams will compete in Mexico City for the second edition of the tournament
The second edition of Pan-American Ice hockey tournament, or Torneo Panamericano de Hockey sobre Hielo accortding to official name in Spanish, will take place next June from 3rd to 7th, again in Mexico City, at the Icedome Arena, as for the inaugural edition, played last year and won by Canada. This year six teams, one more from 2014 edition, will battle for the supremacy between Central and South American countries. Champion Canada declined the invite for 2015, while Mexico and Argentina will allign two teams, senior and U17 for Mexico and an A and B team for Argentina. 2014 bronze medalist Colombia and Brazil are the other participants. Apart from Canada, also USA, Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay and Venezuela were invited but declined. Argentina, Brazil,Colombia, Mexico U18 and Mexico will compete in women's tournament, won by Sudbury Lady Wolves, representing Canada, last year.
