Czech roster for EHT games against Russia
Head coach of Team Czech Republic Vladimír Růžička announced list of players who will play against Russia on February 5 and 7.
Růžička said the two first stops of EHT earlier this season were dedicated for testing new and young names. The current nomination is build on experienced names because he aims to the World Championship already.
The best example of how Růžička bets on the experience is appearance of Martin Ručinský in the squad. Ručinský, 43, announced his retirement on the international field 9 years back already, but his current spectacular form makes him come back on the scene. Three-times World Champion and ‘98 Olympic Gold Medalist plays this year Tipsport Extraliga for Litvínov (15G+25A in 40 games).
