Jakub Klepis scored the only goal of the game just seven seconds before the end when Färjestad beat HV 71 in SHL last night.

 
 
 
 

HV 71  -  Färjestads BK 0 - 1 (0-0, 0-0, 0-1)

Färjestad earned the third win in a row after a late goal by Jakub Klepis. Linus Persson, behind the home net, found Klepis with a nice pass at 59:53 and the game finally saw a goal. Justin Pogge in Färjestad's net made 31 saves for his second shutout of the season.

"Our team effort is brilliant", says the satisfied Färjestad coach Tommy Samuelsson to farjestadbk.se.

Yesterday Färjestad signed the Finnish forward Toni Rajala from Yugra (KHL).

Växjö Lakers HC  -  MODO Hockey 5 - 3 (2-0, 1-2, 2-1)

Växjö had a 3-0 win and outshot MODO 51-12, but still barely got away with the win. MODO scored two late second period goals and Gustav Possler tied it 3-3 at 46 minutes. Växjö managed to come back. Robin Söderquist made it 4-3 six minutes before the end and Liam Reddox added a goal at 58:20.

Linköping HC  -  Frölunda HC 2 - 3 (1-2, 1-0, 0-1)

Frölunda remain at the top of the SHL standings after an away win against Linköping. Mats Rosselli Olsen decided the game at 54:44. Linköping's new defenseman Dominik Granak scored his first goal for the club when he tied it 2-2 in the second period.

Skellefteå AIK  -  Örebro HK 2 - 1 (1-1, 1-0, 0-0)

With goalie Markus Svensson still out of the line-up Skellefteå beat Örebro ather three straight losses. Erik Hanses had a great game between the pipes and made 28 saves. Kirill Kabanov and Tim Heed scored for Skellefteå.

Brynäs IF  -  Luleå HF 7 - 2 (2-1, 2-0, 3-1)

Daniel Brodin and Anton Rödin scored two goals each when Brynäs surprised Luleå with a 7-2 win. Sebastian Enterfeldt, Greg Scott and Bill Sweatt also got goals.

Leksands IF  -  Djurgårdens IF 5 - 3 (1-0, 3-2, 1-1)

Leksand beat Djurgården for its fifth consecutive home win. Fabian Brunnström got two goals. Jens Bergenström, Johan Ryno and Joonas Rönnberg one each.
