Salavat qualifies for the KHL semis

Salavat Yulaev Ufa knocked out the 2009 and 2010 champion Ak Bars Kazan in the KHL quarter finals. Salavat won today's game 1-0 and the series 4-1. Avangard Omsk took a 3-2 lead in the series against Metallurg Magnitogorsk.

Andrei Pervyshin scored in the second overtime period to win the game 4-3 for Avangard who now is in a 3-2 lead of the series. Dmitri Semin had a goal and 3 assists.
