Biel wins in shootout, Fribourg win 2 points in overtime and Davos keeps 3 points in top game against Lugano.
Davos was the only team in the East to win 3 points in the game of the second against third. Lugano trailed Davos after Ville Koistinen got the lead for the Capricorns in the 24th minute. It was Julien Vauclair in the 58th minute to score the equalizing goal but newly acquired Felicien du Bois scored the game winning goal just 48 seconds before the final sirene went off.
In the Hallenstadion, it looked like the Lions would carry the victory home but Niklas Olaussson with 5 minutes left scored the game tying goal and gave Biel another shot at the win in the overtime but neither team succeded. While no player on the Lions side was able to score, Kamber, Albrandt and Olausson secured 2 points for Biel.
It seemed that the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers were in a giving mood in the starting minutes of the game. Michael Ngoy and Marc Abplanalp scored two goals just 3 and a half minutes after the first puck was dropped and now the Lakers were challenged. Rajan Sataric in the first period and Jordan Murray also got their two goals to even the score. Fribourg scored another two goals over the next two periods while the Lakers got one more by Johan Fransson but it didn't look bad for the Dragons. Then, with 2 minutes left in the game, Antonio Rizzello got the important game tying goal. In the 5 minute overtime it then was Killian Mottet to score the game winning goal.
