Metallurg Magnitogorsk beat Yugra 4-1 away today to win the 1/8 final series 4-2 and join Riga, SKA, Atlant, Ak Bars and Salavat in the KHL Quarter Finals

Yugra started the game best; out-shot Metallurg 10-5 in the first period and took the lead by Dmitri Altarev early in the second. The goal was a wake-up call for Metallurg who 7 minutes later had turned the game around to a 3-1 lead. Tomas Rolinek, Juhamatti Aaltonen and Denis Platonov had scored. Gleb Klimenko made it 4-1 in the third period.
