Swedish coach will lead Iceland in IHWC Division II A in Serbia

 
 
 
 

Iceland Federation announced 35-years-old Swedish Tim Brithen as new national team coach.

Former defender with a modest career in Swedish lower leagues, Brithen, son of successful coach Jim Brithén, coached at Linköping Hockey Academy.(U16 and U18 teams), Motala and Wettern at senior level. Last season he began on Olofströms IK bench, in Sweden Division I, but was fired and replaced midseason. He will lead Iceland at IHWC Division II A, held in Belgrade, from 09 to 15 April 2013, where Iceland will face host Serbia, Belgium, Estonia, Israel and Australia
