WC 2014 update

Recent updates from the preparations for the World Championship in Minsk.

•Retail facilities in Minsk will increase to WC-2014. 90,000 square meters of new retail space were introduced in 2013, 80,000 more will be opened to the beginning of 2014. There will be commercial pavilions, cafes, restaurants and bars.

•All outlets in Minsk will accept bank cards for 2014 World Cup. Today the bank terminals are equipped with most of the commercial properties.

•All catering establishments can provide the 2014 World Cup menu in English.

•Plasma screens will be installed in café and bars in Minsk, which will broadcast the matches of the championship.

•Tracksuits with the symbols of the 2014 World Cup are most popular among purchasers of souvenirs for the 2014 World Cup.

•Glen Hanlon arrived in Belarus on 10 August, and began work with the national team of Belarus to prepare the team for the World Cup 2014.
