Sergei Kostitsyn signs with Avangard?

Sergei Kostitsyn will decide if he signs a contract with Avangard (KHL) in early July.

Sergei Kostitsyn played in Nashville in the season 2012/2013. But a few weeks ago Kostitsyn received an offer from Avangard. He will become a free agent in the summer of 2014 but Avangard want to sign a contract with the Belarusian forward just now, hockey player agent Yuri Nikolaev says in interview.

Nashville was ready to rent Kostitsyn to Avangard. The 26-year-old Belorussian player has a salary of $ 3 million a year. His contract expires next summer.

Kostitsyn played 46 games for Nashville in 2012/2013 season and had 15 (3+12) points. He also played for Avangard during the lockout and had 28 (9 +19) points in 27 games there.
