Switzerland won the Stockholm group with 20 out 21 maximum points. In today's game against Belarus they got a great start to the game with Roman Jusi scoring already in the second minute. Switzerland dominated the first period and looked like sure winners but Belarus came out stronger in the third they came out stronger and a early goal in the third made the game all even again.

It was Kovyrshin who scored it putting some pressure on the Swiss that needed at least one point to win the group. But it seems like Switzerland have better mental strength than in some earlier tournaments and the Swiss recovered with three consecutive goals to win 4-1.

First veteran Mahias Seger made i 2-1 with nine minutes left and later Julian Walker added two goals to finish off the game. Switzerland will now play the winner of Czech Republic and Norway in the quarter final. Probably without Reto Suri who suffered a knee injury in the game. Belarus finished seventh in the group and has a lot to improve until the 2014 World Championship on home ice.
