World Cup returning?
According to Russian media the World Cup will return in 2016.
On Saturday Russian media published that the World Cup of Hockey will return in 2016. Vladislav Tretiak says the tournament will be played in August 2016.
Sweden's General Manger Tommy Boustedt confirms to Sweden's newspaper Aftonbladet that he has heard the same thing and that it's very likely to be reality even if nothing is officially confirmed yet. The tournament is likely played some where in North America.
The last World Cup was played in 2004 with Canada as winners.
