Linus Persson scored 12 seconds into the overtime to give Luleå a 3-1 lead over Färjestad.
Luleå takes a 3-1 lead over Färjestad in the Elitserien semi finals after Linus Persson's overtime goal at only twelve seconds. He was assisted by the Abbott brothers Chris and Cam.
Färjestad got a perfect start of the game with an early leading goal. Anton Grundel scored at 02:07. With two goals early in the second period Luleå took over the lead. Karl Fabricius tied it and Jens Jakobs scored 2-1 at 24:49. A few minutes later Christian Berglund tied it again. Luleå outshot Färjestad 17-3 in the second period and 39-20 in the game.
The third period remained scoreless.
An individual mistake by Färjestad's defender Ville Lajunen got Luleå the winning goal after twelve seconds overtime.
Luleå now has three "match points". Next game is played in Karlstad on Saturday.
