KAC - Vienna 2:1 OT (2-0)

KAC have now gone 11 straight home wins with overtime victory to ensure more comfortable lead prior to the game in Vienna. The last defeat at home was in January against - the Vienna Capitals.

Rene Swette was facing Matt Zaba in a clash someone could entitle a "stationary war". Although KAC are up two wins, the series could easily be turned upside down if Vienna manage to win at home.

Both teams started disciplined and didn't want to comit many mistakes. Few opportunities came on the powerplay, but neither team could have capitalized on a man advantage situations.

At 28:25 Raphael Herburger snaps a precise shot behind Zaba in net on a 3-on-2 situation. The goal was set up by Tyler Scofield and Florian Iberer. Vienna went on to attack and tie the game. At 37:07 Jamie Fraser finally finds the net and gets this game to its beginning.

In the last twenty minutes both goalies stood strong and allowed no goals to take this one into overtime. 5 minutes into overtime Lammers brings KAC a 2-0 lead in the series.

KAC is now one step closer to 30th title in club's history and will try to come even closer on Tuesday in Vienna.
