Special night at Ambri, Peter Jaks get his shirt retired; Biel smashes the leader; Bern makes it easy;

Biel 7 Geneva 2

Have you ever seen the movie "Gladiator", where people decide the heroes must live or die? In Swiss Hockey it's like that. No first star, fans decide who deserved it. First Seguin, than Kane, later Berra and Pouliot... All of them getting their name shouted 15 minutes after the game.
The leader was in town and the game was special but the final result let no doubt. An easy one to resume.

Tyler Seguin and Patrick Kane play in another level, especially in Power-Play. We saw the puck goes through the slot just as it was the Hong-Kong customs. The physical game used by Geneva, that gave them great results didn't work tonight. Tyler Seguin four goals and one assist), Jakob Micflikier ( one goal, three assists) and Patrick Kane ( three assists) had a night to remember. Mention to Reto Berra with 35 saves.

Bern 5 Zug 1

Bern is back to great nights. Home team was better in all parts of the game. Swiss goalie Simon Rytz had confirm that Zug needs a goalie with urgency. Will Hiller or Schneider be called in the next week? Byron Ritchie with three assists and John Tavares with a goal and an assist led the home team.

Lakers 4 Kloten 5

A six points game between two teams that want to make the Play-Offs. Kloten tonight was a better team and deserved the victory but the Lakers with four goals in second period made it difficult for Kloten to win the game. Peter Sejna (Lakers) and Michael Liniger (Kloten) both with two goals were nominate best players.

Ambri 5 Lugano 2

Special night between Ambri and Lugano. Before the game Ambri retired Peter Jaks shirt. That was tirst big moment of the game. The second one is the way Ambri won this derby. Home team motivated by his new coach Serge Pelletier clearly wanted this game more. In only 20 minutes, the riddle was solved. Former Biel Alain Miéville led Ambri with two goals. Mention to Jason Williams and Zdenek Kutalk both with two assists.
