Luleå wins again

Only one game was played in European Trophy today. Luleå HF beat Kärpät 3-1 to win its third straight game.
Swedish Luleå won the game between the most northern teams of European Trophy. The game against Finnish Kärpät of Oulu ended 3-1. Luleå is on top of the North Division with three wins. Kärpät was one win and two losses.
The home team took the lead in Coop Arena at 17:33 when Jens Jakobs with a bit of luck beat Johan Backlund in Kärpät's net. At 26:07 Joonas Huovinen tied it for the Finnish team.
In the middle of the last period two of Luleå's Finnish players compined for the 2-1 goal. Niklas Fogström scored assisted by Joonas Vihko. Kärpät pulled Backlund and Anton Hedman could score 3-1 in the empty net at 58:27.
Kärpät didn't get one single penalty minute in this game while Luleå got five minor penalties.
